The term 'probiotic' is derived from the Greek, meaning ‘for life’. Probiotics are currently defined as ‘live microorganisms which, when consumed in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit to the host’(1). Common descriptions for probiotics include ‘friendly’, ‘beneficial’ or ‘healthy’ bacteria.

Probiotic bacteria are generally, though not exclusively, lactic acid bacteria and include Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. casei, L. bulgaricus, L. plantarum, L. salivarius, L. rhamnosus, L. reuteri, Bifidobacterium bifidum, B. longum, B. infantis and S. thermophilus. Probiotic bacteria are used in the production of yogurt, various fermented milk products and dietary supplements.

Does NOT contain: Dairy, preservatives, sugar, gluten, soy, artificial colors, flavors or FOS.

NOTE: Every digestive system is unique like a fingerprint. You have to find the dosage that best suits you. It may be one, two, three or even six scoops a day depending on results obtained. Thus gradual increase in dosage is recommended.

STORAGE: Our probiotic formulations must be stored in a refrigerator or freezer to maintain maximum potency. You can, however, travel with our probiotic supplements unrefrigerated for two to three weeks with very minimal bacterial count reduction.
